Privacy policy

At matriXO, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services for workshops, hackathons, and bootcamps.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

When you register for our events or use our services, we collect:

• Contact Information: Name, email address, phone number
• Account Information: Username, password (encrypted)
• Payment Information: Processed securely through Razorpay (we don't store card details)
• Educational Information: College/university name, year of study, course
• Professional Information: Company, job title (for bootcamps)

StudentVault student verification

To confirm you are a student, StudentVault asks for your college, graduation year and either a college email address (we email it a one-time code) or a photo of a student document such as your ID card, bonafide certificate or fee receipt. At re-verification we also ask whether you are still studying and, if you have graduated, what you are doing now.

• Documents are stored privately and are visible only to the matriXO team members who review them, through links that expire after 15 minutes
• We use them only to confirm student status — never for marketing, and never shared with the providers listed in StudentVault
• One-time codes are stored only as a secure hash and expire after 10 minutes
• You can ask us to delete your document at any time by emailing hello@matrixo.in; we delete documents within 90 days of a review decision
